My approach to training is bespoke and interactive, in a workshop setting. I take my cue from Seneca, a stoic philosopher who lived in the first century and wrote to his friend Lucillius Junior: ‘the greatest benefit is to be derived from conversation, because it creeps by degrees into the soul. Lectures prepared beforehand and spouted in the presence of a throng have in them more noise but less intimacy.’
